Born in 1977 in Zurich, Switzerland. She studied directing and
scriptwriting at ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste). She directed and
wrote several short films THE MAGIC CUT (2006), MENSCHINE (2005) and
theatre plays (THE REBEL SPERM) and is known as a multi discipline
artist working as filmmaker, musician, performer and visual artist. She
tours all over Europe with her band THE JACKETS and realises her own
interdisciplinary projects and is regularly active in theatre and film

Born in Bern, worked as a film journalist, in PR & marketing in distribution and marketing in distribution and cinema, 2008 training as cultural manager. Since 2010 production manager and producer at Recycled Tv AG in Bern.
He started working in the Filmindustry as an Electrician and then as a Clapper/Loader. From 1992 on he was working as a First Camera-Assistant and Focus Puller for many different Commercial-, Corporate-, Documentary- and Feature Films. Since 2000 he works as a freelance Director of Photography. 2005 he wins the Special Jury-price for Best Cinematography at the Swiss Film Price with STRÄHL (2004). 2008 Award for Best Cinematography at the Brooklyn International Filmfestival for FUORI DALLE CORDE by Fulvio Bernasconi. 2017 he is nominated for Best Cinematography at the Swiss Film Price for MISERICORDE by Fulvio Bernasconi. Special Prize of the Swiss Film Academy for the outstanding editing of the films ABRIR PUERTAS Y VENTANAS, DAY IS DONE and EINE WEN IIG, DR DÄLLEBACH KARI. 2018 Swiss Film Award, Best Film Editing for ALMOST THERE by Jacqueline Zünd. Since 1995, Balz Bachmann has mainly composed music for films, stage,
television or art projects. He has worked with directors such as
Jasmilla Zbanic, Xavier Koller, Dani Levy, Sabine Gisiger, Christoph
Schaub and Thomas Imbach, as well as with artists such as Andro Wekua,
Patrick Hari and Dimitri De Perrot. He has received numerous awards,
including the Swiss Film Award, the Film Music Prize of the Locarno Film
Festival, and a nomination for the German Documentary Film Music Prize.
In addition to his work as a composer, he is a guest lecturer at the
Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and works as a music producer.
Among others, he accompanied the singer Sophie Hunger as a musician on
her tours. He is a member of the European as well as the Swiss Film
Academy. He lives and works in Zurich.
